Jeff is a long time Jacksonville resident and the owner of Action Garage Door Services. He has spent more than two decades building the company from a small local operation into one of the most trusted garage door repair and installation teams in Northeast Florida. He is still hands on in the business every day, reviewing jobs, talking with customers, and making sure the work is done right instead of rushed.

Jeff built his foundation in high pressure service environments, starting in the restaurant industry and working his way from washing dishes to running multiple locations as a general manager. That experience taught him how to lead teams, handle demanding customers, and deliver consistent results when things go sideways. He later moved into sales and went on to start and grow multiple service companies including a cleaning company, a lawn care company, and a window treatment company, before exiting his last business to focus full time on Action Garage Door Services.

He is known for being obsessive about quality and longevity, which is what led to the creation of the QuietBuilt line of premium springs and rollers. Jeff believes most garage door failures come from cheap parts and shortcuts, not bad luck. When he writes, he draws on decades of building and running real service businesses to explain what homeowners should look for, what to avoid, and how to keep their garage doors working quietly and safely for years
